Yah baby!
When the Oilers used to win it every year, the Cup had more parties than Sinatra and the Rat Pack!

I held the cup over my head for a pic at my buddy's house in 1985. His Dad was a lawyer for the team and had the Cup visit his house!

Very cool feeling, to lift and hold the sacred cup that so many greats have hoisted.

Nope, but i have been in the same building as the stanley cup. About 3 times. I would have gotten to touchit but the line was to long and we needed to go.

EEEP! Bad luck! The story goes that anyone who touches Sir Stanley's Cup without actually winning it will NEVER EVER win it!! Therefore, as a die hard Bruins fan, I extrapolate that "curse" to mean that if I touch The Cup, the Bruins will NEVER EVER win it back in my lifetime!!!
So, nope...I stay waaaaay far away from it.

in the process the lockout, I went to an prolonged sea coast Ice canines sport and to my ask your self it became there!! I neglected a million/2 the sport yet became in a position to touch and get my image concentrated on it. observed it back a pair situations whilst the ducks won in '07. that element i became in a position to surely hug it and became in a position to touch the Conn Smyth. Went to the 2010 draft became in a position to work out it alongside with all the different NHL trophies yet this time I wasn't in a position to touch it. I ought to confess II'vegotten tremendously fortunate!!!

For those who have touched the cup at the Hockey Hall of Fame - its not always the real one. They have a fake one in the HHOF, when the real one is on tour.

I've been with in inches of the one that is kept at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto. I say the one because there is some debate as to whether it's the real one or not.

No, but Scotty Bowman drove it around in the back of a convertible near his home outside of Buffalo.

And doesn't the guy who is the "Keeper of the Cup" have the coolest job ever??
