My resolution is to stop making New Years resolutions because they last all of a nanosecond.

Yeah, sounds fine, we should have more realistic resolutions, I mean the ones we can really achieve in a short term.

If you want to stop making resolutions, then why you still make this resolution to stop making resolutions??? Is the same when someone says "I think I'm not going to say anything" and yet he/she already said something.

That's pointless. If they don't last, than this one wont, either. So you'll probably just make another next year, and the next year, and the next...
