Definitely on the rise. They are a true underdog team. I think with time they can become an a lot stronger squad and I think they could have an even better chance competing in different competitions. It won't happen tomorrow, but over the years I think they will become a lot stronger.

australian soccer has picked up but its no way as gud as the european league n never will b thats y all the gud australian players go overseas 2 play n australia imports soccer players whoz careers r practically ended overseas but they r able 2 keep up wit australian soccer like the 40 yr old brazilian even the goals arnt as gud sum of the mistakes made by the goalkeepers r embarissin n there isnt that passion that the europeans have n the quality of players arnt gud n in the world cup not 1 australian from the team who plays 4 the a-league got any time on the pitch at all n the amount of players from the a-league chosen from the squard u could count wit 1 hand, yes the a-league has improved but its nufin compared 2 the soccer played in europe

2. They were ripped off in the world cup, made last 16.
3. Local A-league is booming, had 50,000 at Victory vs Sydney FC
4. They are in Asia finally against some quality opposition.
