I was for commenting in the details to a question I asked: "of course gay bashers are idiots". I got a notice of violation from Yahoo that I was "being disparaging of members of the yahoo community."

I did not realize that calling a bigot intelligence impaired was wrong.

I don't ever answer any of the homosphobic cute stuff, hate, trolls or whatever. These people get the most responses and attention. I don't think people should even make the quick comebacks.

I also do not engage in the cyber crybaby tattletale stuff.

I do keep screaming at Yahoo to do something about it. It would be very simple--have someone monitor this forum 24/7 and immediately delete the crap. Some others have been screaming at Yahoo. Of course, they don't care. I really think a civil rights or gay/lesbian group should get after them.

I am honestly beginning to think that some of the people who are working this forum for Yahoo are indeed homophobic. I find it very strange that all this can continue and people like you and myself can get violated.

The only reason the haters post here is for attention. When people respond to their questions and think they are being wittier or smarter than the hater they are in fact becoming the pawn of the hater. He/she has won the longed for attention.

Remember the hater's only reward for his/her behavior is a response from us, and we keep offering rewards by offering answers to the hater's questions. Don't answer, don't give the hater any attention at all.

Mentioning a hater by name is also rewarding the hater. DO NOT make the hater the focus of your own questions.

It is especially important that you do not respond to the offender in an abusive manner or you yourself will possibly be reported for abuse! Many who respond with answers are reported by the hater for abuse. Point gamers end up losing 15 points. Others lose ALL their Yahoo accounts, not just their Yahoo! Answers account.

If you are really serious about fighting abuse, go to the Yahoo! Message Board (forum) and make yourself heard there where it might actually do some good. Complaining here accomplishes nothing. It just gives the hater one more reward.

Complain directly to Yahoo via email and message boards.. Stop whining here. Start doing something that promises real results. Go to the real source of the problem which is Yahoo! for failing to address the problem effectively.

Report Abuse. Move ON.

It seems that trolls can say whatever they want and then when you defend yourself you are the one that is wrong. What is up with that? Then they think they have the right to go through your questions and report you for something you asked a couple of months ago. Happened to me, it is sickening. Nothing like getting a violation notice for sticking up for yourself. This is our forum and the hateful trolls should stay off our site. :)

the trolls want to upset other people

when the trolls upset other people enough to the point that they answer THE TROLL is the one who is REPORTING you for your answer to there own question

when a question is deleted any answer to it that was reported as abuse loses points too

do not feed the troll

do not acknowledge the troll

once the troll stops getting any attention let the troll slither away

Dude, you were totally pwned when you responded to the idiot trolls. They crave our attention, and you gave them exactly what they wanted by responding to their bait. On top of that, you responded to their TOS violation with one of your own, and it was probably a troll who reported you for it. Your whining about losing points is just another trophy for the trolls. You see, the trolls don't care about points; their accounts get deleted all the time, and they just make new ones.

The only smart thing to do is completely ignore them. Or, report them if you're so inclined, BUT DO NOT RESPOND TO THEM!

Uhhhh they do that? Really?

I think that's a good thing though. They're obvious trolls...they should deduct points if you answer on troll threads. It only makes sense....

There's no reasoning with some people. Especially not LaQuisha/Doris/Olga/Kkk, etc... don't ever take this creature seriously.
