i have a pink dogwood in my backyard that is growing in between two burning bushes and i would like to move it to its own spot.

Wait until just before the dogwood wakes up in the spring while it is still dormant. Also, trim any branches that may need pruning during the relocation. Try to get as many roots as you can when moving. Probably a good idea to stake it also if you don't get enough root ball. Make sure stakes are well away from trunk.

They are tough to transplant. I would let it relaxation in a 1/2 sun discipline so long as feasible. Regularly the roots continue to exist even though it can be in bloom. Are attempting taking the seeds within the fall. That probably less complicated.

Not yet - wait until before spring. Prepare the hole beforehand and also trim up the roots a little. You may want to trim the tree also. Ensure the hole has had plenty of water

Do not do it now.. Wait until Spring.. March or April of the coming year... Be sure to put some bone meal in the hole that you prepare for the transplant
