If there is a total of 3530 points possible, and I have 2455 accumulated, what is my grade as of now? Please show me how to calculate this, for future reference. Thanks.

Note the following grading scale:

A = 90 - 100
B = 80 - 90
C = 70 - 80
D = 60 - 70
F = < 60

Thanks for the help guys, even though I did gimp up the grading scale a bit :P

I turned in some extra credit work, too. Looks like I'll be passing with a C =)

put in (2455/3530) into a calculator.
you'll end up with ~0.695, round up to 0.70.

0.70 in percentages is 70%, which is the highest D you can get.

P.S. kiss his *** a bit and he might let you slide with a C-

To work out your score as a percentage, divide by the total possible and multiply by 100:
2455 / 3530 * 100 = 69.5 approx. So you're right at the top of the D range.

If it is a straight percentage with no curve, divide 2455 by 3530 then multiply by 100.

Take 2455 divided by 3530 = .695 and multiply by 100 = 69.5%. I hope you have another test grade to add to that!
