Metal expands faster than glass so run the top under hot water and then open it with a towel to help your grip. If this does not work, you may need a pair of channel-locks (like adjustable pliers to fit around the cap).

there are two things you can do....
1. put fire on the bottom of the bottle... the screw will pop up... be careful with this... sometimes too much heat would explode the bottle.....
2. heat the screw.... its a simple science... the wax they put on the screww will loosen and would make it easy to open....
try it....

if you have a nutcracker or lobster breaker use that. Other wise a pair of tongs- wrap a towel around the top. Then apply pressure....and twist. VIOLA!
