i need a computer for mostly internet and homework for school. i might also play games. if u can suggest a computer, please include the type of hard drive, video card, etc.

DON'T buy a Dell! They built their crap with the cheapest parts available. And if something does go wrong, their **entire** customer (dis)service department is in India. So unless you speak Hindi, you are going to fight long and hard to find someone who understands you well enough to help you.
Go with HP. Even better, go to www.stupidcheapcomputers.net and get a system there. Everyone speaks English there and it's all high quality.

Go to the small business section of dell, they have a good deal there... Try the Dimension C521 I like its style versus performance Make sure you upgrade to the 256MB X1300 video card and if you can afford it upgrade to a larger hard drive and upgrade to 2Gb of Ram, but if I had my choice I would get a larger monitor also..

i would suggest you buy intel core window vista or media ..pentium 4.....750 gb harddrive . 4 gb ram , ati video card guuuud for gmaes ..... ummm get an 22 inch lcd screen ..wireless mouse n keyboard .dvd burner .........get a one with more usb ......get a guuud virus protectore like mcafee .
