Ask the people around you to share their Christmas memories with you. Talk to your parents, siblings, relatives, friends, schoolmates, teachers, neighbors. If you love to write, record what they say, and make a book or scrapbook or website out of it. Share the results with your near and dear.
Learn about Christmas customs from around the world. Also, learn about other December holidays such as Hanukkah and Kwanzaa.
Do you give presents yet? At thirteen, I hope so! If you have little to no money, you might draw pictures or compose little poems for your family members.
Here's an idea: make gingerbread cookies that resemble your family and friends! I found this idea in Seventeen magazine years ago. Bake the cookies (make them good-sized gingerbread people, not tiny ones), then decorate them using icing and frosting to make them resemble your loved ones. Give each person his/her cookie.
If you have money, time, and/or creative ability, you might look into various charities that ask for help this time of year: Angel Tree, Toys for Tots, the Salvation Army, Hurricane Katrina relief efforts. With your parents' help, pick one charity and do something for it. Perhaps your local church has something charitable going on.
Merry Christmas!

Poor child....
I have found that by thinking of others, you forget a lot of your own anxieties and worries. Doing the red kettle skit may or may not work for you. Or perhaps clean out your closet for the new clothes, if you are expecting them this year, and donate them to Salvation Army.
Or just play with the dog and enjoy the spirit while listening to the music. All that will not last forever.

its like the 2006th one, relax already
let the other folks fret and worry if they want too
its all about seeing people you like and having a meal, maybe watch the kids get excited about conspicuos consumption and materialism. And a fat guy in a red suit.
