The mighty elite four are found in the Indigo Plateau. You need all of the gym badges to get there though. Head west from Veridian city to reach the emtrance gate. You will need to get through Victory road to get to the Indigo plateau. It is full pof powerful trainers and wild pokémon. You'll also need to use strength to push boulders onto switches.

The elite four are the toughest trainers that you'll find in the game. Each trainer has a specialist type or type that he/she likes to use. There is one pokémon that can get you through everyone in the Elite four. It's name is Starmie. Teach it Psychic, Surf, Thunderbolt and Ice beam and you'll be onto a winner.

SPOILERS AHEAD

Elite four 1: Loreli
Preferred types: Ice, Water
Team...
Dewgong
Cloyster
Slowbro
Jynx
Lapras

Strategy: You wil have guessed that electric types are the way to go here. Grass types are vulnerable to ice beam and blizzard. You can also use fire pokémon, though watch out for the water pokémon. Similarly, you can use fighting types, but look out for slowbro and Jynx, they're part Psychic.

Elite four 2: Bruno
Preferred type: Fighting, Ground.
Team...
Onix
Hitmonchan
Hitmonlee
Onix
Machamp

Strategy: If you have a Starmie, that is perfect for seeing you through Bruno. It's fusion of Water and Psychic powers is perfect. Otherwise, use flying attacks for the fighting types (though bewary of rock attacks) and Grass attacks for the Onix's (Look out for Hitmonchan's fire punch.

Elite four 3: Agatha
Preferred types: Ghost/Poison
Team...
Gengar
Golbat
Haunter
Arbok
Gengar

Another paychic type will see you through here, though try not to take a ghost attack. You need something that can hit hard and fast that can KO her pokémon before thet hit. That Starmie mentioned before is perfect.

Elite four: Lance
Preferred type: Various (Self-proclaimed Dragon master)
Team...
Gyarados
Dragonair
Dragonair
Aerodactyl
Dragonite

Strategy: Lance maiinly uses dragon pokémon, which are only weak to ice or other dragon attacks. That starmie will be useful again. Thunderbolt the Gyarados and Ice beam the dragons, using Surf to take down the Aerodactyl. Beware, as osme of his dragons also have Thunderbolt.

Champion: Rival
Various types
Team...
Pidgeot
Alakazam
Rhydon
Last three varies depending on your starter.

Strategy: You've battled your rival before and seen his team grow. This should give you an idea of what he's capible of. Any Growlithes and Exeggecutes will have evolved now. You'll need everything you've got to win this.
