It depends on how much music you either have or will have. However, the iPod Mini is no longer produced, it has been replaced by the Nano. The largest Nano, 8GB holds about 1,000 songs. If you have or think you may have more than 1,000 songs, you may want to consider an iPod Video. The smallest video, 30GB, holds about 7,500 songs.

depending on what you use it for... ipod mini is no more so that isnt really an option.
Ipod nano- small so if you use it for the gym, that might be a better option.
Ipod video- watch movies and tv shoes plus tons of storage for pictures and songs. The video ipod stores more and ends up costing about the same as the bigger nano's, but you get more space... I would say splurge for the video, you will be happier in the end.
NANO- 8gb for about $249 and holds about 2000 songs
VIDEO- 20GB for about $249 and holds about 7,500 songs
you do the math...

Ipod Video: It can be sometimes hard putting videos on ipod, but it has more GB you can add lots of songs more than the ipod nano
Ipod nano: Now this, it can be easy at some point, but yea to me this is easire to deal with than Ipod nano, because people dont know how to add video (beside me & people)...so i rather go with ipod nano, cause you just add ipod nano, and dont need to convert anything, and picture are easy too..

That depends on what you want to use it for and what size you like. If you want to play videos, you need a video ipod, which is fairly big, and holds a lot of files. If you want something to work out to, you should get the nano, which is much smaller, but holds less. The mini is obsolete.

Minis are not made anymore, so as that's not an selection. Nano's are good in case you do not favor to shop too a lot, and basically favor to shop mp3s. Video's are large for a large number of memory and the video potential, yet observing a video kills the battery extremely rapidly. that's extremely in accordance for your opportunities.

ipod video for sure. you can download pictures and movies -- its great for when you're bored and you dont wanna run to blockbusters to get a DVD -- b/c u have the movies on ur ipod!!
the nano i dont like b/c i feel like it will snap in half any second -- since its sooooo tiny
and the ipod mini is just... yuck. get the video!!!

the regular ipod video has more features but its pretty big. The nano can play music and show pics and can fit easily into your pockets, the shuffle is tiny but has limited storage

it really depends on what u are lookin for and how much u want to spend i personally think the video is the best cuz i want to watch movies with my music palyer if u want to excercise with it i would recommend the nano also the nano is more affordable but if u are looking for a general music palyer for cheap the mini is where its at

VIDEO. its quite expensive though...but if u don't have enough money to buy vids off of itunes, then i suggest u just get the nano..what's the point of having an ipod vid when u don't hve any vids

The Ipod video is best if cost is not an issue. It is a little bigger than the others, but it is still a rather small device.
