I assume you have saved EVERYTHING you want already.
You can format your HD using the "format" command on EACH partition.
Use "format C:" IF you want to be able to undo it.
Use "format C: /u" IF you want NO CHANCE OF UNDOING. The /u stands for "unconditional" which does NOT save an "image" of the drive tables.
If you want to be as sure as possible that files are unrecoverable, use a program that will do a "security delete" on ALL files first, then format.
Kevpet200 is INCORRECT. The Format command is NOT a low-level format of the HD !!
Low-Level format requires a "special" program available from some drive manufacturers, is NORMALLY only done at the factory unless the drive itself is completely INACCESSIBLE, (all "tables" messed up); and for 80GB drive would take OVER 6 HOURS with a reasonably fast system!!

Do you want to restart or format? Deleting everything would be formatting (although there's still stuff on your drive, if someone wants it bad enough).
If you wanna restart, just hit the restart button, or hit ctrl-alt-del twice. If you want to wipe your HD drive out, from DOS type format, or right click on C: from Windows Explorer and click Format. Once you do, there's no turning back...

You can get a program disk that will wipe everything out at a local Staples or even Wal-mart. Make sure you save everything onto a disk that you want to keep BEFORE you do this.~
