For what it's worth, I was recently in the hospital on both Vicodin and antibiotics and my period was very late.

Vicodin does not cause birth defects. I had 2 impacted wisdom teeth severely infected while I was about 3 months pregnant and I had to have them surgically removed. I had Vicodin and other painkillers, also lots of antibiotics and even went under general anesthesia for the surgery and my child is a beautiful, healthy, very smart child.

Vicodin has nothing to do with your cycle. Narcotics anctually mimic the body's pain response. Vicodin does cause birth defects though. Some antibiotics actually decrease the effectivness of birth control. If you weren't taking the pill then I would say that neither causes a late period. I would wait a week then take a pregnancy test.

Not likely, but whatever was wrong that had you taking both antibiotics and narcotics may have. Also, do you take contraceptive medications? The drug interactions can get tricky.

no. antibiotics decrease the effectiveness of birth control pills though so if you use them I hope you used another form of birth control.
