Is Missouri a hillbilly state with farms and stuff???

Whats wrong with farms and what exactly do you mean by hillbilly, are you some kind of city boy that can't take care of himself? Yes, Missouri has farms, but so does Cali and New York, get some education.

like most of the heartland states missouri is much about farming. and , you should know, farming is known as the backbone of america. it also has great cities and urban areas that rival that of any great american state. i don't know exactly how you got farmers mixed up with hillbillies but when i think of hillbillies i think of lazy, backwoodsy, isolated, moonshining, and rebellious, obnoxious individuals who have no intention of doing any thing that resembles work. hillbillies per say would normally be found in poverty stricken, underdeveloped mountainous areas of the country, hence the name (hill)billy. in stark contrast farmers are some of the hardest working people you will ever find. in summary missouri is a beautiful, proud state.

I'm from KY and I'm going to take offense to that for Missouri. Without farming communities people in cities would not be able to survive. As for the hillbilly reference, that only shows your ignorance.

Missouri has farms and prarie and it has urban jungles and it has sophisticated urban culture and it has suburban savvy.

But not all farmers, even those named Billy Bob who have guns and livestock and love sport, are divorced from music, art, literature and poetry.

Those who think otherwise do not know America; do not realize that there are ballet and symphony and theatre even in places like Omaha NE and St Louis MO.
