The dresses will be worn over black sweater tights.
And which fabric is stretchier, and would look better on; cotton or polyester?
Thanks, <3

I would say the second dress. It has a classic look to it without over-doing the hoodstooth patern. I think the black sweater tights is a good idea. If you want some colour though, I'd suggest a solid coloured cardigan. (Don't pair this outfit up with a cardigan/jacket that has a print on it. It'll clash too much with the hoodstooth seeing that hoodstooth is a very classic print but it'll look bad with another print paired up with it.)

Cotton

1) Stretch comes from being a woven fabric or ones with lycra, cotton or polyester not a factor in stretch by themselves.
2) Dresses all pretty much the same, it will just depend on your body type . . . you will only know after you try them on

i think that cotton is stretchier and feels better! the last is really cute, wear it w/e flats to! i have these really cute ones from Delia's (see the link below). i dont think the fabric really matters, just how comfortable it is to you. good luck.
ps i liked the green ones w/e the dress!

polyester is stretchier, it would help to know your age and what the occasion is. but if i had to chose it would be the second one but i think you can find something a little better than that

I'd say the second dress...If you want a stretchy fabric, try to look for something with a bit of spandex in it.
