Are you for real? Usually it's on the phone so I just hang up on them. Some of the guys I work with have started calling me the assistant manager, and I don't work in that capacity, so I hang up on them. That to me is an insult for all the hard work I've done to get where I am today. I know they're only messing with me but I kinda take that a little personally.

actually it all depends. sometimes if it does really get on my nerve and that i am truly totally utterly annoyed by the insults or taken aback, i would resort to gving back "smart" remarks and retorts. but most of the time, i would try my best to put a deaf ear, just look at the insulter and give a dull blank face or a slight smile and just walk away. there is no point in entertaining them.

Usually an ax comes to mind. Like the one in Frank Frazetta's ' The Death Dealer.' Then I have to calm down a little. Very little.

I tried to ignore them, when that fails I insult them with the rudest insults I have.

most or the time you take the insult and move on, and use it as a grudge later.. or if you're brave insult them back and see what happens!

I don't usually get an insult, but when I do I just let it roll off of me, and mentally put them on my poop list.

Depends on my mood. Today I flipped off another mom because she was honking incessantly that the carpool line was too long, and I didn't want to put up with her sh**. If she would have said something, I would have got in her face because I was in a bad mood. Usually, I just let things go.

What I do is say something that hurts them so bad that I forget about what they said to me.Fighting is always a good resource for me too.Tell them to "run up to these hands".
