Yes, I would LIKE them to take their shoes off in my house.
I guess it doesn`t really bother me all that much, if they want to leave their shoes on, GO RIGHT AHEAD. I don`t require it(:

Yes. Shoes have all of the garbage from the sidewalks, roads and ground on them. Having people remove them keeps it from making the house as filthy and germ ridden as it would be if they kept them on.

Even if there doesn't seem to be anything on the shoes there still is. People spit on the ground and sidewalk and animals piss all over outside. This gets on your shoes and then gets tracked around. I'm sure some of those people who say "no" wouldn't want someone to spit on their hands and then touch stuff in their house, even if the person wiped off their hand on their pants first or something.

No, cuz we have carpet people come and clean every month. And certain people need to keep their shoes on. Some feel uncomfortable with no shoes on.

Since I have very light beige carpeting, I ask them to either take off their shoes or wipe their feet a thousand times on the door mat.

No, but I think it's a good idea because of all the gross shi* you walk on when your out and about. You bring that into your house on the soles of your shoes.

No, I think it's a waste of time. Maybe if I lived in a place where we got snow we might, but here there's not much point to it. We have a mat at the front door, that's enough.
