well, you can't teach your heart reason, although emotions are occurences in the brain, the brain sends out impulses to the heart during whatever the emotion, causing your heart to race, and you can't reason when you're heart races, sometimes it's a good feeling, other times it's a scary feeling, the heart is the impulsiveness in a person, actions are done to ease the pain or stress of emotions, like you get a heavy feeling in your heart when you're down
side note- i think it is beautiful how the heart beats
