Boat Trip?

I have a male friend who has invited me to go sailing on his new sailboat for the weekend but i can't stand his girlfriend. She's sleazy, catty and she is constantly accusing me of trying to steal him. I love my friend and we have been friends since childhood. But not romantically. How do I say no without hurting his feelings??

Tell him the truth, that you feel uncomfortable with his girlfriend.
Tell him that you would love to sail on his boat sometime but maybe one on one... That is it, you don't have to spill the beans on her.... if he is really a friend he will not push the issue...
