Get him something he'll use every day. This way, not only will he enjoy his gift all the time, but he'll think of you whenever he uses it.
Maybe a nice electric shaver, or a new wallet or something like that. If you get him something like a CD or something simple like that the novelty will wear thin and it won't be so exciting anymore.
Just think simple. What does he use every day? What is something that he uses every day that you could get him?
By the way, just because he's already got one, doesn't mean you can't get him a better one so he can get rid of the old one. That only adds to the quality of the gift.
Thus is the secret to getting any gift for any guy.

a tie, a watch,a pair of sock, go to a place he aways wanted to go if you can afford it,or get something he realy need.
