its as unsafe as everyother chat forum out there. why is it getting such a bad rap versus the other guys? because its popular right now. when yahoo chat was really big, they did the same reports about the same things. whats changed? the website.
on any of them you can catch virus'
meet people that could potentially try to meet and harm you
have people that try to take your identification
people that try to get you to scam you for money
and the list goes on and on

myspace is not unsafe. myspace like movies, tv, knives, fireworks must be monitored by responsible parents and not be pushed onto society at large.

people who don't have one and don't like them. parents whoa re over protective. parents who are scare because of online predators. myspace can have private settings that only you and your friends can see your pgae and no one is allowed to see your page publicly, spelled wrong. plus you can approve of comments that people give you

it isnt unsafe. only if you make. don't be naive and start saying you want to meet them. and if they say they want to meet you move on. there are miilons of people on myspace and all aren't bad

They aren't unsafe. Chatting with strangers isn't even dangerous. You just need to watch what personal information you give away.

my bf said that there are alot of viruses so im not allowed to use it anymore(his computer) so i dunno hope everything is ok when you use it
