It's illegal to smoke pot, so I don't own my lungs.
It's illegal to be a gigolo, so I don't own Junior.
It's illegal to sell my organs, so I don't own my kidneys.
Gay marriage is illegal (not that I am), so the government owns my *** too.
I think I may be entitled to my boogers, but I'll need to get back to you on that.

I used to, but I had to take out a mortgage on myself to make ends meet. I sell the authenticity of my writing for money, like an intellectual hooker, give my rage away free cos nobody'll buy it, throw my smile around like boyscout confetti and give a little love anywhere I can. Ain't that much left of me when all that's gone, and the State takes that in taxes.

No. Nobody own himself or herself. We belong to our maker, and then we were bought with a high price. So we twice belong to Him.
1 Corinthians 6:19,20.
19 Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? 20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body[c] and in your spirit, which are God’s.

No, rightfully our maker owns us. But, he gave us freedom to choose who would be our master. If we choose Him, we will spend eternity with Him and all the good that He loves to give. If we choose to allow our desires, thinking, sin, Satan, etc. to master us then we will spend eternity with our master.
We will all serve a master. God chose you (to free you from your master that will bring you to destruction with him) He paid the price to set you free. You can accept His payment and go with Him, or stay enslaved to that which will not bring you to eternal life in a loving relationship with your Maker.
