Most of the Republic party is not aware of Giuliani's stance on issues such as the one you mentioned. That is why he is ahead in the polls.

Because it is 2 years away. McCain is hated by the Republican base. Rudy is a great leader, but he is liberal on social issues. He will not win in the primary.

Early days, yet, early days. I think both candidates are far too moderate for the mullahs of the GOP who put Bush in office. I am expecting a right-wing-ideology-toe-the-line candidate to come to the fore.

give a little more credit to saving nyc and wtc than a moderate mouthpiece. guliani is ahead because he is a MUCH better candidate.
