Knowing about the constitution is the most important aspect of being an American.
The constitution is the core foundation of our country. It gives us the freedom and rights we have today. It dictates our governmental structure and has made us the great country that we are.
An American that is ignorant to the constitution is truly not a true American.

'The Constitution is the supreme law of the land' that mean that if you understand it and how it is interpreted you know your rights as long as you can argue it in court. No other court can overpower your arguement. Also if you can form arguements using the constitution and presuade a judge you can design your rights if the government tries to impose laws that threaten you. It is my understanding that as long as you don't earn money as a corporation it is possible to argue not to pay taxes.
The arguement goes like this:
I have the right to Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happyness.
So my time on earth is my time to do with as I want.
I choose to exchange my time to do something for someone else.
I have bartered my time and labour for a commodity be it cash or whatever I have exchanged.
So technically I haven't produced income just exchanged work and results for cash. This is the legal interpretation of the word income.
I heard this arguement on the radio see if a google search can help you not pay tax. I can't cause I don't live in America anymore.
OH and ofcourse any other arguement you can present in court or have a president to go by :).

The constitution is the document that defines the status and rights of the individual. It guarentees you certain rights and liberties. It's pretty much been sh*t all over by bush et al so it's really more of a historical document than actually pertaining to the present.

If you are ignorant of your rights you will be trampled upon. The way people are kept down is through ignorance. If you want to keep your freedoms know what they are.
