My best friend dumped me becauseI did some nasty things, said some nasty things because I've been having some serious family problems and trusted that she would be there for me. I said I was sorry so much she's sick of it, I've written her a letter, she forgives me, she says she doesn't want to be my friend and doesn't care about me yet she still protects me, looks out for me and talks to me. How can I earn her trust back and be friends again?

It will take time just be patient. It sounded that she still cares for you. Maybe she just wants you to realize your mistake.

You just have to wait it out and keep doing what you're doing. Eventually she'll learn to trust you again although it might take some time.

It will take time. You already know that. But be patient. You have to give her time and space to heal over this. She has felt deceived and needs to come to terms with that.
