The Ranger is not going to last long with 35's and the transmission they have. If it has not been re-geared (around 4.56 gears) it will be toast soon. The jeep does have its problems also. I would probably keep the jeep and save for something else a bit newer and heavier if you want to build a 4x4. Of course $5000 will make a killer cherokee!!!!!

Yeah i think "%. the ford rock on!!!" does not extremely help lots.... besides save those 2 issues in strategies. particular, the Ranger gets extra suitable mileage, yet extra importantly the Ranger is a lots extra straightforward motor vehicle then the Grand Cherokee. you will quickly be accomplishing a element the place the Jeep is going to start desiring heavier upkeep, extra upkeep, etc... The Ranger is a extra much less costly motor vehicle to maintain, provider, and restore. Granted the Jeep beats it for its cool component, yet at this element you're able to think of roughly your wallet long term.

Ford rangers have a curse on them everybody that I know that had one the engine will have a major problem with its timming belts or a head gasget or valley pan gasket and you are young so you will put it to the test beat on it and it will not stand up to the test keep your jeepif the body is in good shape think about putting in a new engine when the one thats in it starts to go south
