He thinks he is the best receiver of all time. He probably thinks he's the best athlete of all time. There are a bunch of current players I would even put in front of him. I would put Marvin Harrison in front of him. Heck I would even put someone like Hines Ward in front of him. Receivers like Harrison and Ward do more than just catch balls. They do things that TO would never do.
1. They both set great blocks.
2. They won't short arm balls. They will go all out to catch a ball even if it means taking a hard hit.
3. They care about their teammates and strive to make others around them better
4. They are not a cancer to their team.
5. They go about their business relatively quiet. TO has to be the center of attention ALL the time or he cries like a little girl.
Even though he doesn't fit the mold of a Harrison type player, I would even put Chad Johnson ahead of TO
Chad Johnson- Loves to get attention like TO, but knows when to cut it off. He understands the right mixture of having fun and not hindering your team. TO cares only about himself

Damn shows how many rookie football fans there are answering these things. Plain and simple best Wide Reciever ever or atleast so far is Jerry Rice no Wide Reciever in the NFL has even come close to doing the things he did. He has owned every record a WR can have and it is going to be a long time before a single player can do what hes done. Agreed his records will be taken away slowly but it will be by numerous players not one single guy. TO as far as sportsmanship goes has to be the worst Reciver ever.

terrel owens is the biggest liability to any football the nfl
has seen in recent memories.I don't even rate him in the top 100 of 85 recievers.he is nothing more than the biggest sissy rich ***** crybaby wannabe football player.
why for the love of God dallas had to be so desparate
for talent and pay this triple a wannabe 25 million to
be an embarasement to himself and the nfl as a whole.
jerry rice and steve largent are class acts whereas t.o.
is a classless one.
lets see if he has the balls to spit in a 300lb linebackers
face

By yards receiving he doesn't even make the top 30 so far this year. By grabs he again does not appear in the top 30. Again for average yards per game he is no getting it done this year. Just as an aside, there is a guy named Calvin Johnson playing for DETROIT that is stomping out any chance of TO being mentioned again as teh best wide receiver in the NFL. I mean come on, if you can't even compete with Detroit, perhaps it is time to shut up, put your head down, and just flat out play until that is not the case.

He could have been, if he wasn't suspended by the Eagles. He's got excellent stats, but not great stats. If he screws up in Dallas, he'll be done. No teams will want him because he's a mental case. He's a great athlete, but he doesn't come close because of his attitude. He's a big baby. This season he leads the NFL in dropped passes. He has very good stats this season and I'll give him his due by helping Dallas out, but is he really worth it? I think he'll be gone next season.

U MUST BE RETARDED IF U THINK TERRELL OWENS IS THE BEST. THE ONLY REASON HE IS STILL PLAYIN IS CAUSE OF THE MONEY. ALL HE CARES ABOUT IS MAKIN MONEY. TO BE A GREAT RECIEVER U HAVE TO WANT TO PLAY THE GAME AND NOT CARE BOUT THE MONEY. THE ONLY RECIEVER NOWADAYS THT CAN BE CALLED A GREAT ONE IS MARVIN HARRISON. DO U EVER HEAR NE THING BOUT HIM AS FAR AS CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS? HE DOESNT CARE BOUT HIS MONEY AND HE IS DOING IT QUIETLY. NE WAY THE GREATEST RECIEVER OF ALL TIME IS JERRY RICE. THERE IS NO CONTEST SO DONT EVEN START COMPARING HIM TO NE BODY CAUSE HE IS TWICE THE PLAYER THEY ARE.

No, a famous old Packer Don Hudson was the 3rd best. I think Marvin Harrison could be better too. And Don't forget Others like Andre Reed and Micheal Irvin, although T.O. is about to pass Reed and Hudson.

No i think that the best reciever is jerry rice (even though you said besides him) one is that he has won multiple super bowls. A big factor is that he played with great QB's like montana and young. Though he hand great hands and had the speed even at 41 with da raiders
