Tamaki obviously likes Haruhi.. I'm not sure about haruhi though... I think she does in the last (or was it second to the last?) episode where there is a sound of jealousy in her voice when a girl introduced by his grandmother came and Tamaki was ordered by his grandmother to escort her for the whole festival. (I'm not sure about my answer so just watch the episode..)

In a fashion, haruhi interior the right realizes she has some thoughts for Tamaki at the same time as he's about to go away to bypass to France, yet they don't actual bypass out or some thing, or atleast interior the anime they don't bypass out or change into boyfriend/female friend. and likewise the vp of the Host club's(forgot his call) Father reported some thing about possibly having haruhi marry his Son(the vp) so who knows?

Tamaki has a crush on her from the beginning. I can't tell if Haruhi likes him or if she thinks he's an idiot. Some of both, probably.

tamaki had been in love with haruhi from the beginning just that he is too slow to realise it and at the end of the anime i think haruhi had become significantly fond of him, but the animators never officially confirmed their relationship :( i hope theyll fall in love in the manga though ;)

I'm pretty sure they do, but Tamaki falls in love with her in about the 3rd episode.

they don't exactly fall in love but it's something like that... it's like they kinda got closer... I suppose
