Steamboat springs is the greatest place on earth in the summer. its not too bad in the winter either. its out of the way from Denver but well worth the drive. You will not want to leave I'm serious

Skip the Denver Art Museum, see the museum of nature and science instead. There's an awesome French restaurant downtown called Le Central (112 E. 8th St.). You won't need a res. if you go on a weekday, though there will probably be a wait. In Colorado Springs, definitely Garden of the Gods and the Cheyenne Mtn. Zoo. In between the two, if you're into shopping, I'd recommend the outlet malls in Castle Rock. They're right off I-25.

I hope it's a warm weather trip, if so, Red rocks, Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, Rocky Mtn NatL Park ,Denver Mint, Denver Art museum, to name a few places

It depends on what time of the year you are comming, but skiing and snowboarding is fun in the winter and hiking is fun in the spring summer, my point is go to the mountains it will be great as long as you love the outdoors.
