We should leave out the various hindrances viz. indolence, sleep, wandering of mind, attachments to senses, etc. and turn our whole and undivided attention to the stories of Sai Baba. Let their love be natural, let us know the secret of devotion; let us not exhaust Ourselves by other Sadhanas, let us stick to this one simple remedy, i.e. listening to Sai Baba’s stories. This will destroy ignorance and will secure salvation. A miser may stay at various places; but he always thinks of his buried treasure. So let Sai Baba be enthroned in the hearts of all. -

Salvation is not possible. It presupposes that there is something to be saved. There is nothing that needs saving. We're fine.

The only thing that can destroy ignorance is people taking the initiative of educating themselves. I don't see that happening any time soon.

i flow to flow against the run of Christian solutions and say no. they look lacking an epistemological step or 2, with specific caveats. initially what one thinks one is conscious for specific, absolute specific, would be completely incorrect. The firmness of perception does not, on my own, create the fact or (to stay with your gun analogy) no-you will ever have had to assert, horrified: "yet i became specific it wasn't loaded". And the enterprise, completely confident perspectives of a Christian and a Muslim can no longer the two be maximum surprising. So why is one's "understanding" maximum surprising and the different incorrect"? How could they tell, and could that no longer introduce doubt, except the two factors became completely deaf to the different? (no longer a sturdy subject, yet a accessible one) The believe in biblical texts, of direction, relies upon on those being actual and inerrant. that's no longer a given, different than for people who've moved to that stance. yet then, the stability of the flow is up for question: except that source of doubt is likewise set aside. And finally can one "be attentive to" one is a real Christian? i verify out the statements and assertions in a number of those solutions and that i could have made them, too, two decades in the past. yet now i'm an atheist, so this is commonly mentioned (somewhat firmly!) that i became in no way a real Christian. yet you will desire to hardly get extra genuine than me, then... something, something, a Christian could cite by ability of way of exterior or inner sign or information utilized to me besides, interior the Nineteen Seventies and Eighties (and that i became an person, then) So how can they make certain they do no longer look to be in fact in basic terms like me, different than they have not stumbled on it yet? except disregarded or set aside by ability of religion there seem to be genuine limits to "understanding" with finished fact. (i'm no longer able to be attentive to for a fact that there'll be a first easy the following day. i'm no longer able to coach it, mathematically or any different way. yet mutually as that technical uncertainty reasons me no useful concern or psychological tension, that's incorrect to make the state-of-the-artwork yet extreme bounce from even an helpful useful fact to claiming absolute know-how or fact.)
