I'm so sorry you can't have a fresh tree. For whatever comfort this provides you, I have a friend who put up a fresh tree that was pretty, but he added a few drops of whatever was sold to him to add to the water to keep the tree fresh, and within one day the tree smelled like something had crawled inside it and died---a very rotten smell. He had to remove the tree and was too weary to take it back to the seller, so he put up an artificial one. I know this doesn't happen too often. Anyway, get a candle that is Christmas tree scented, close your eyes, and pretend your artificial tree is real...or if you don't have one at all, pretend you do. Merry Christmas.

i individually appreciate a real evergreen tree. yet we had some problems with the tree's pine needles falling lots by using tree being to dry in the nice and cozy abode. So we've a man made tree. and that i will ought to confess, in assessment to the previous pretend timber(that gave the impact of a tree with anorexia!) The tree we've had the final 5 or 6 years does look genuine! I even have had human beings come over and remark approximately it being a alluring tree. And once I tell them that it particularly is man made, they are in a position to't have faith it! however the ingredient you don't get is the scent of a real tree! MMMM! Makes me desire to place my tree up now..:)

So do I. I like to crush some pine-needles when I walk in the park. Reminds me of the magic of childhood. I have a real tree but it is staying in the garden. It is getting too big unfortunately so will have to come down soon. Pity. Happy Christmas! :-)

Come on over - want a mince pie?
Oh, and whoever told you you can't have one because of the central heating was telling you porkies because they didn't want to pay for it and hoover up the little pine needles! You only need the tree to last a few weeks, it takes months to die!
