Yahoo calls that chatting but if you ask me, they're just being petty considering they let all sorts of sick questions stay up.
So what is this 'polls & surveys' category for, then?

There is nothing wrong with that, I can not even believe someone would report that! To answer your Q. I want a new car and need new pots and pans. Have A merry Christmas and Happy New year!=))

Some turkey didn't like you or your question and hit the flag. Y!AT doesn't really look at the stuff that's reported, they just delete whatever or send canned violation notices and canned responses to the flagger.

sometimes when you say the "U or you" it cause a violation.. I asked the same a week ago and got the same as you did...you could try to say it differntly. maybe I will and see what happens..

Someone probably reported you for chatting. That is their favorite reason for giving a violation.

Nothings wrong with that. They are probably just overreacting.
Next time, try, "Could you give me a few gift ideas?" or "Is there anything you wanted?" You might get the same cynical remarks, but its a different approach.

Same here. It's Yahoo's hobby to delete legit questions, but still show the Spam.
