I'm 19 years old. I had sex this month (with my boyfriend of 3 years) for the first time in about a year. We had both drinken (for the first time in like 2 years)...and we did not use protection....we also did not finish (he didnt get a chance to ***)...Still, I know that pre-*** can get you pregnant. I made a mistake and I'm now paying for it.

I took 6 E.P.T tests.... 3 about a week ago, and 1 for the past 3 days (i'm 2 weeks late). and they all said negative.

I have been under A LOT of stress this month
Plus I've been sick all month (flu, cold, strep throat, sinus infection)
Can all that lead up to a missed period?

Before I make an appointment at planned parenthood, does anybody have any information they can give me?

stress can make your period late.
being put under the stress of just THINKING you could be pregnant can do it to you.
try to de-stress yourself. calm yourself by knowing that the chances of getting pregnant if he didnt actually finish arent as big as people like to scare you with.

first thing is first. i got pregnant the first time that my boyfriend and i did something. he either pulled out or he didnt finish, I cant remember. so its possible.
secondly, if your test was 100 miu (its what they measure by) then it may not detect it! I was 7 weeks pregnant and my test said negative but if you stared really hard you could see a positve line (that went away after 10 minutes). The lower the number, the better. the 20 or 25 miu is what you need to test with. Buy the tests that say 5 days sooner. Know before your period... etc. The miu will NOT be on the box. I had to look that info up online.
third, if could be stress. it could be that you are becoming insync to someone else, or obviously its too early to tell if you are pregnant.
if this fails you, go to your doctor, clinic, or where ever you can be seen. if you are normally regular, then get seen. i was also never regular. i could go months without a period!

i hope that this helps you somewhat.

good luck!

It could be that you're just stressing hardcore. I was 1 1/2 wks late when we were trying to conceive... I wanted to be preg so bad that I actually threw my system out of whack. It could also be that your sick. There's a lot of reasons to be late, besides pregnancy. By two weeks, there SHOULD be enough hormone level in your body to detect pregnacy if you were (but everyone's different). If you still don't get your cycle in the next few days/week, try testing again. In the meantime, try to stay calm and "expect the worst, but hope for the best". Have a plan for whatever may happen. And if you're not preg... DEFINATELY count your blessings and take this into account next time you decide to do anything. At least ALWAYS have some kind of protection on you, or get a prescription for birth control. Good luck to you, best wishes.

Stress can definately make your period late. If is continues you may want to get checked out since there are false negatives, and other reasons they don't show up positive, but there are more reasons why a period can be late, you probably already have been running a fever, but if you get any pain you need to get checked in case you have cists or anything, because a lot of things can mimic other problems and could fowl up your periods too. Either way relax, eisier said than done, but there are lots of reasons why your late besides being pregnant. Maybe be easier on yourself to, it was a mistake that you sound like you learned from.

I don't think the tests would necessarily be accurate if you just had sex this month. Usually you need to be about 5-6 weeks pregnant for it to be accurate.

Stress and illness can both contribute to a late period. Taking new medications can also mess up your menstrual cycle. It sounds like you have had it rough this month so it's not surprising that you are late. I would hold off for awhile before making that appointment with planned parenthood.

If you were pregnant, you'd probably notice that your breasts are VERY painful and swollen and you'd be extremely tired. Usually breast pain is the first sign...

Good luck...

Stress can make you late, so can some illnesses. Make a doctor's appt. and have him give you the test and find out what else can be wrong with you. It's always a safe bet to get a second opinion from someone who will not prosper by what they tell you.

If you are pregnant, you are a mother. Right now! If you have your baby killed you will still be a mother, only of a dead baby. Please be aware your child will be tortured to death, and CAN FEEL PAIN, please use anesthesia. You have other options including keeping the baby with help and adoption to a family who will love her. Many men and women are praying that they will be given the chance to adopt. By giving your child up for adoption, you are giving a gift of love and life to your own precious child. What kind of mother are you going to be?

I would avoid going to Planned Parenthood, unless you want to support an organization that protects child rapists, then assists with the coverup by destroying the evidence of his crime; the poor defenseless unborn child. (see links below for proof)

Instead, please go to Crisis Pregnancy center in your area (see link below) to get a free OTC pregnancy test, Real information about abortion, and to explore the other options besides abortion.

Stess and other things can cause missed periods.
It's likely youre not..but scheduling an appointment with your gynocologist could tell you if you are/not and make sure nothing else is going on.

you need to have had secure intercourse yet once you have been on delivery administration then it wasn't unprotected. in any case I ought to declare that if I have been you i could pass on your gyno and verify each and everything is wonderful. i would not shop taking delivery administration in case you have overlooked your era. while you're pregnant you need to kill the toddler.
