It hurts!

Have you ever been hit in the nose? Think about that... even witha ball or on accident. I bet your eyes watered up and it hurt pretty badly right? I've had my nose pierced three times, and its a very sensitive area. Even if it doesn't actually hurt that bad, its definitely going to make you tear up....

I would guess first of all the pain would be rated on your pain tolerance, if you can handle it, then it may not be so bad. In my experience my initial piercing hurt, but it was quick. For the next week I had issues with throbbing and bleeding, but not excessive, just irritating. I had to re-pierce about two years later, due to a job not allowing piercings, and that actually hurt worse because they had to go through scar tissue, since I had it pierced in the same spot. The healing time was nothing the second time, it was as if I never took it out in the first place. Know that it will most likely leave a scar if you ever plan to take it out, but only you will notice it probably. I like mine and have no regrets from getting it done. Hope that helps.

Nooooooo, not if you have ever had your tounge or belly-butten done, they hurt worse. If you go to a professional who knows their stuff (well worth the few extra $) it is over in a matter of seconds. Just follow the after care instructions and you will be cool. My nose piercing did not even swell! If you have a buddy do it you can get all sorts of infections, even if they "clean" their equipment! Good Luck :>)

Yes and No..I had my nose pierced almost 2 months ago. It hurts worse then ears and bellybutton. I've had problems with my cute lil diamond though. It takes alot of work to keep it from getting infected, because it is in your nose where alot of germs are. I love mine and I think that you should defiantly go for it!

My husbands aunt had her nose pierced about 4 months ago. She said that when they pierce it, they used a hallow pin type thing and pushed it through her nose, she said that you could hear the meat breaking, but to answer your question, she explained that it didn't hurt as bad as what you would think.

I not going to lie to you, its going to hurt for just one minutes and then it will be over. Its going to feel like someone pinch you on your nose.
