It doesn't have to be formal I can wear jeans and a sweatshirt. But what should I wear if I am going to the Science Museum and we are driving from Connecticut

supposed to be about 40ish tomorrow, so yeah wear something warm. Doesnt matter exactly what you wear. Jeans are fine, sweatshirts are fine. You'll be walking around a lot in the museum. Probably visit body world and you'll see the laser shows and such. Whatever is comfortable is what you should wear.

Casual wear, nice, but something you'll be comfortable in.
The weather will be a bit chilly, but nothing for a winter jacket.
I would layer my clothes so that if I got hot I could remove a
vest or sweater. If out at night, a coat jacket or something
medium weight should do.

Well, maybe wear layers, because you don't want to be too warm inside the museum.
