I have heard of virus's attacking Microsoft based Pocket PC's since they still typically have stripped down Word, Excel, IE, etc...
Have not heard of a virus going after Palm OS since it has a small market share...
Also, there are new virus going after cell phones....

yes, it runs on a similar code to PC. just save whats needed onto a memory card, and clear the whole phone. start again.
