My husband does not understand the woman he has, I've never cheated on him or thought about it; I tryied to give him whatever he wanted ; and behind closed doors,... well we will leave it behind close doors. Just put it like this It was the bomb. But when my Mom fell sick I lost it and he thought that I was depressed. Well We lost Her in 2004 and I feel the blame for all that I did to Her from childhood up in till now. He does not understand me and the way that I feel. I know that I should move on but he's gone and the hurt is worse because now I've lost 2 (Best friends)

It's hard to get a full picture from what you say, but am I right in saying that your husband left you after your mother died because he couldn't handle your depression, and things you may have said or done during it?

You need grief counselling, if this is the case. You can't expect your husband to bear the weight of that on his own. It's more than a lot of men can handle, and you were probably lashing out at him when all you wanted was for him to care, and this pushed him away.

Get help for your grief, then tackle your relationship with him. Let him know that the problem was with your grief and not him. Tell him you are sorry. He should hopefully understand.

It seems your husband is being insensitive to your dilemma. You should definitely seek out counseling to help resolve the issues with your mother. Perhaps if your husband were more sympathetic to your plight, he might have suggested this and even gone with you for moral support, if nothing else. Good luck.

If he was a good husband and indeed your best friend, he would not have left you in your time of need. He would have stuck by you and supported you. Thick and thin, good and bad, thats what marriage is for. You are a good woman, be with a man who deserves a good woman.

You've already said you need to move on. If you focus on the hurt you will continue to hurt. Close your eyes--take a deep breath and ask yourself "What is one thing I can do this week to begin to move on?" Go with it. You get to choose. Are you ready to choose a great life?
