Is there a website that will tell me about other authors who write like a favorite author?

I like certain authors but I am interested in discovering new authors, but would like to find authors that write in a similar way to my favorite authors.

go to amazon and look at your fav author's books. Then it will say "people who bought this book also bought..." usually the other books will be similar but by different authors. Try that.

Aside from seeing what Amazon.com recommends, you could also check out to see if your favorite author has a website and if the author recommends any books he or she likes. You could also look at reviews of books by your favorite authors and see if the reviewer mentions that the author has similar styles, etc., to other authors. Good luck!

NOTE: This is a library site. So, you may note be able to join. HOWEVER, you may want to check your own local library to see if they have something comparable. (You can also "beg" THIS library to let you join so that you can address your passion for writers! :-)

Not only on line if you go into Waterstones look under your authors name and there will be a list of similar authors.

There may be a website but what's even better is your local library where the staff live books and will be able to tell you if there are sites and also advise you personally.
