Practise, Practise , practise.
Leg exercises, and weights and practise your strides and control when skating.
Practise your shots, look at the target not the puck and shoot.

OK its your time, its Miller time. The faster skater is not the
shooter. Play should be really more like practice shooting.
The better team play is because you are undaunted. The
weight of a miller is proportionately 3000 times that of a dork.
All non-millers are dork, or cork. Easy the skating speed is all
a game of tactic, you must look into the other player and go
forward. Never get into handling and speeding, then its fighting. Speed practical is good at 100 runs 50 each way, then
yoga, karate, and more yoga. Concentrating on the eye, the
ear, the clean breath will help posture. Then better all around.
