Yah, Michigan accents, especially in the U.P. that's upper peninsula. We sound differenter from southerners or westerners or easterners or foreigners.

Everyone has an accent... in Nova Scotia, the accent changes with every little community along the water... if you have ever heard someone from 'Bah Hahbah', you'd have the jist of one of them.
I personally would not recognize a Michigan accent if it bit me on the ear... but I'm 100% sure that they exist. It's... auditory perspective :)

Couldn't tell ya; never heard a Michigan accent. But I would assume you speak similarly to us Western New Yorkers! I imagine I would hear no accent.

I had a few friends in the military that were from Michigan. Since I myself am from Chicago, none of them had accents to me!

I think all people have "accents". What would exempt Michiganites from having accents, unless you are among those who think everyone other than yourself speaks "differently"
