Sorry - I'm from the UK too, but had to respond to the answerers.
It's good to see the majority see Bush as a total failure.
But some other responses are just stupid. How can anyone say that Bush has done well considering he has had to deal with Iraq, Katrina, 9/11 etc.
Bush was told about Katrina and the risk to the levees. He knew this was a storm that covered multiple states, so therefore this became his administrations responsibility.
But he chose to head of for vacation and a party. I know he did a 5 minute fly-by 5 days after the storm, but that's not too great.
Bush failed. He is the cause.
If I stand in the middle of a highway & you tell me to move because a trucks coming, it's my fault if I ignore your warning. It's not bad luck if I ignore you.
Bush was also given several 9/11 warnings.
He was given several warnings that Iraq could be bad too.
All we did in Iraq is wage an illegal war, kill 600,000 people, wreck the nation, use chemical weapons on children, rape women, torture men, steal oil, start a civil war, allow terrorists to arrive, etc. etc. What rotten luck that they hate us. Unlucky Bush.
Wake up America!! Look into the North American Union and what Bush plans for your country, before it's too late.

Hi there, My guess is about 40% have some feeling of afffection for him but approximately 35, 36 percent still would follow the leader over a clif if he asked them to. A majority, ( an ever increasing majority ) , no longer trust him and are increasingly tired of this administration. A lot of Americans believe Bush to be the monkey to Dick Cheney's organ grinder. In other words, he's not very bright and is directed by others in his administration.
And a lot of us believe his first election was stolen outright in 2000.
Over half see him as the worst American president ever.
How do you feel about your prime minister, Mr. Blair ?

I think he's a great guy that had a lot of cleaning up to do in the oval office (which a previous embarassment has turned into the 'oral office'). I think that he has been handed more than his fair share of problems and he dealt with them the best way he could. Though not everyone agrees with his decisions, I think of him like a father over our country. I'm sure growing up, you didn't agree with the decisions your parents made for you but in the end it was for the best...kind of like that. I think he's a great president and I'm sorry that he can't run for a third term. Jeb Bush, anyone?

Like President Bush, disagree with a number of his regulations (immigration); Tony Blair is a get up guy who regrettably took a beating for allying with the U. S.. Our government is fairly similiar to the British, we took the superb aspects of it, representative, and junked the undesirable aspects, monarchy.

About 30% hate him. There would be the same amount if he were a Democrat.
Most Americans respect him. He is an honorable man. He does not speak publicly well. He does not defend himself against partisan attacks.

Bush is like any other - hated and liked. His approval rating today is only 24%.
The overwhelming majority who likes him will NOT say that he is the best that America ever had.
The overwhelming majority who hates him will DEFINITELY say that he is America's worst.

That he is one of the most dangerous human beings today, and that history will proclaim him to be one of the most reviled Presidents ever. That while he has managed to to gain control and power over the American people through the use of terrorist tactics, there are thankfully many Americans who will never give up their freedom to think for themselves. That While the majority of Americans are card carying Dems and Repubs glued to their plasmas and Flat screens getting their truth spoon fed to them by a government controlled media, and regurgitating the same old GOP rhetoric in response to the country's woes, there are still some "True Americans" who are fighting the "War on Terror" every day in our own country against hypocrisy, lies, corruption, murder, and the true evil among us.

I think he is a sorry representative for our country. Most Americans are not gun-toting, immigrant-hating Southerners who think patriotism means following orders. George W. Bush is an embarrassment.

The majority of us Americans think he is very dumb & got to be the President both times illegally. That the votes were tampered with, especially in Florida where his brother is governor.
He has murdered so many people with this senseless war & he acts like he just doesn't care.
His own mother says he is her dumbest child.
Many people that were Republicans that voted for him will dispute this but many have changed their minds now since all of his stupid doings.
