First you must go back over the pros and cons and re examine them to make absolutely sure. If there is no other reason to do this then do it for the sheer hell of it. For there has been a lot found in the sheer hell of it.
Once done and if the situation is the same, you must ask yourself some questions. You must go deep within your desires and decide what really is the real desire of your heart of hearts. Choose that. If however the situation is the same, ask youself how does it affect other people. Decide on the decision accordingly. If however it is the same, decide which can be done at another time. Then do the other. If however it is still the same either throw a coin in the air or just decide willy nilly. But make a choice. For A CHOICE is better than NONE. For when you make a choice at least you learn if not gain something. However do you know what happens if you do nothing? Yep youv'e guessed it-NOTHING.

Indecision is the major cause of procrastination, loss of time and energy. Indecision can keep you in deadlock situation for ages but decisions do not get easier with the passing of time. I am a poor decision maker myself, to my own standards at least, but I think I have a few things to say … at least I know how hard it is to be sharp and decisive at times.

First of all, you can realise that the equivalence between pros and cons, that is becoming a dilemma for you, is somehow contrived by you own mind to save from the pain of acting decisively. It is purely arbitrary. The fact of the matter is that there are no two things perfectly equal in existence, for if they were then they would not have been two at the first place. There are indeed situations, especially the situations with sentimental value attached where you cannot choose between two people again almost equally dear to you. Bit if a decision is to be made than the action must be taken, and the action would start from here, from you. The understanding that no two things, people or situations ever bear perfectly equal merits anywhere at any time in the world, would make the difference need by your mind in comparisons – equip your mind. The state of mind you are in is pragmatically demanding and basically active.

You might not like to go deep into your emotional stuff, or into your inhibitions right now, but there is lot for you to learn here, as you will by the time you make decision. But once you do, you will realise that you are what you chose, other options would not look as attractive as it does now. You are where you, and you become what you choose.

Note:- When we have a situation at hand and our mind is buzzing at a high pitch, we usually fail to see that a small logical opening somewhere is our only hope, the only way of out a situation. Often in face of important moments we ignore, and sometimes even consider it to me mean - as in my case - to take into account very small things. But in order to make decisions we need strong mind capable as much of dealing with major issues as it is interested in minute details. Sometimes the difference between our pros and cons is so small that we need to weigh things up like a goldsmith to realise the difference.

sleep on it if you have time and review your thinking, ask someone you trust for a second opinion and if the pros still equal the cons then there is no down side to the decison so which ever road you take the result will be equally good or bad.

When it's a 50/50 situation, follow your heart. Trust your gut feelings and no turning back/regrets after that. Life is about making choices/decisions (especially in situations like these). Learn through them, especially if they were wrong!

Sit quietly in a chair. Relax. Notice how your body feels, particularly your abdomen and chest; comfortable or uncomfortable? relaxed or tight? any other sensations? Don't try to do anything about what you feel, just notice that this is the way you feel right now.
Now ask the question, should I do (a)? the first side of your dilemna. Notice how your body responds. Give it a few seconds.
Do the same for (b), the other side.
The answer to one of them will be a pleasant feeling. That's the one to choose.
This is how you choose your 'gut' feeling: this is how you follow your heart.
Good luck.

What's wrong with cons? What's so good about pros? I ask these questions with reference to determinate agency in the world, and to Max Weber's belief that the world is ethically irrational, riven with unintended and unforeseeable consequences.

Think harder, are they really equal? Think of the future, something may have more benefits right now, but afterward it might have some let downs. Maybe ask someone else what they think. If its hard to find someone without any bias, but if you ask their reasons, you may just be able to find out what you really want.

I once read a very worthy piece of advice -

On your deathbed, you'll feel far more satisfied with your life knowing that you'd said 'Yes' at every opportunity.

Basically, this means that good or bad, life is about having adventures and really being able to taste life at its fullest whatever it brings you.

"The mind is not for thinking, the mind is for receiving thought." Ask your heart questions, follow your heart. If one knows their on heart there are no "choices" the way to go is very obvious. Always follow God,unconditional love,Good,Positive thoughts. Ban all negative thoughts from your mind.
