Go on the Apple website www.apple.com and check out the commercials they have there. They subtly show you how Macs are better than PCs.
PCs crash all the time, Macs don't. PCs get hacked into all the time, Macs don't. PCs lose .dll files on a regular basis, Macs don't need .dll files, so don't have .dll files, so don't lose .dll files!
The newer Intel Core 2 Duo processor is amazingly fast and it really out-does PCs in terms of making the most of it. Apples operating systems are very user-friendly, and if you've never used one before, you be running it like a God within 2 weeks, i promise u that much...and trust me, i've been there! You can't go wrong with a Mac, you really can't. A lot of people worry that all their old PC work will not be compatible with their new Mac, but it all works! Buying a Mac will be the best computing decision you will have ever made, and you will definitely not regret it for one minute! Sure they might cost a little bit more than the equivalent PC, but Macs look cool, perform much better, and you'll never stop loving your new Mac, even when its out of date, (although that isn't likely to happen anytime soon cos Apple have jus brought out the new Macs), because Macs are made by people who know what they want from a computer.

I'm a PC (Windows XP) user but Macs have better software at this time and less troublesome. Hardware wise, Apple has good design and good features but you really pay for the difference but in terms of the processor, it's the same as Windows based PCs now. In fact, you can simultaneously run Mac software, Windows software and Linux software on Macs but Macs these days can be more appropriately called an Apple PC.

there is nothing wrong with macs, other than their dumb advertising at this point. Macs are virus free and user friendly. The downfall to macs is that they aren't as customizable and upgradable as pcs when it comes to hardware. If you really want a mac go ahead and get one. You can't go wrong either way. there really is no "best" system out there.
Another slight downfall to macs is their gaming support. While you can get most games for macs, you need to make sure you get the right graphics card, and they are more expensive than pc cards.
It's not like you won't be able to play games, it's just not the same as gaming on a pc. My best advice is to go to a some places that have both and see what you like.

there's a reason why Mac can now run window based applications, and that's because Mac only has about 10% of the computers market. Stick with a regular personal computer ... go with HP

YES they are worth every cent! NO viruses, Trojan's, worms (just Microsoft) to stuff up your computer .... they come complete with sound, video and some have a monitor built in as well ... a nice box full of goodies that work, not just a box of bits and pieces (pc) that they hope will work till the warranty is over .... they are far more advanced than a PC usually by about ten years ... greater productivity .... fastest computers available ... easy to learn ... the choice of professionals .... designed with style, elegance and pride ....

No, they aren't. They are still slower than a pc, and they are more expensive and can't play as many games. You can get a powerful pc for less than a lesser mac. The best computers you can get are Alienwares and Voodoos, but they are expensive. For the average person, a HP is good.

Absolutely not. They look nice so people buy them. Mas OS has some nice features, but so do lots of other OS's. Now that Apple has dumped their architecture to follow along with everyone else they are really no better than any dell or HP.

Yes they are. Although it depends what you want to
do. The downside is that they aren't very customizable
unless you buy a Macpro. Which is kinda pricey.
Not better than Dell or HP? LOL. A sink and a chalkboard
is better than HP and Dell.
