We just found out that we are expecting #3! We have not told any family, and will wait until Christmas morning when everyone is together that flew in.

Any ideas as to tell them? I want to be creative!

And if you would like, PLEASE share your stories as to how you told your family. Maybe I can barrow your ideas??

Thanks for any help you can give!

if you have a pet [or simply use your other 2 children] tell your family members that you are looking for someone to watch the kids while you and your spouce go on some trip or something like that. Mention the 2 names of your other 2 children and then mention a name of the third [make up a name since you are probably not sure of one yet] then when they ask who the third person is jump up and down screaming Were expecting!!

This was how my aunt and uncle told us they were expecting....the screaming was not planned she was just too excited! Its a good idea [if you can hold it in long enough HaHa]

much luck and congradulations!!

Write "We're pregnant!" on little slips of paper, then wrap them in tiny boxes - one for each person present. Tell them to open them all at the same time.

Or, the night before, put out a bassinett or some other baby thing with a note from Santa saying it's for the new baby.

Have you had a sonogram yet?

Last year, my friend scanned in the sonogram picture and had it made into cards. She put the sono pic on the inside.

On the outside, they wrote something like, "The Goughan kids have always wanted a puppy. This year, we thought we'd add a new member of the family..."

Then when you opened up the card, it said, "But it's not a dog this year!" And then there was the sono pic.

Buy some sort of baby accessory (such as a small toy, a little outfit, etc.) and wrap it up. Put a tag on it that says "To Baby, Love Santa". Then, when you're going through gifts on Christmas morning someone will probably pick it up and ask "What baby?" and then you can say "Oh yeah...here I'll just hold on to that for the next 9 months.." :-)

If they all will be at your house you can hang a test on the tree like an ornament. Or have your mom and his (If still around, if not father) open a gift with the pregnancy test inside

Christmas gifts! have everyone open them at the same time- personalized "I love grandma" , "worlds greates auntie", etc...bibs, photo frames, even t-shirts. They have all kinds of great stuff in any department store.
Good luck, Merry christmas.
