I no i feel the same way! I want to interact with animals such as tigers, cheetahs etc; but if we were to interact with animals then we would be taking away the animals natural behaviour and therefore giving them a lesser chance of survival. For example, if you were to go to Africa and the tourists always fed the cheetahs meat when they saw them, then the cheetahs would develop the thought that they dont need to hunt they can just come to this place where the people will feed them, and what would happen when maybe suddenly the feeding stopped, The cheetahs wouldnt no what to do because they would not be used to their natural behaviour anymore. Its the same with predators, if an animal got used to humans, it could develop a thought that because humans are quite big and harmful then other big things are harmful too. I know this sounds a bit strange, but that would probably be the case if that were to ever happen! ....But it cant stop us wishing or dreaming about it :)

Animals aren't all pets. Domesticated animals are psychologically and developmentally stunted so they are not as aggressive and self interested.
People are told to keep their distance from wild animals because wild animals who get too used to people work humans into their world either as prey or rivals, not outsiders to be avoided.
Feral cats are miserable short lived creatures who are not truly wild. Having been produced by domesticated animals their survival instincts are compromised to make them at least partly dependent on humans. They are eternal adolescents at most. Dogs are psychologically stunted at the level of a wolf cub their whole lives.
I hope you aren't suggesting cats are adapting to learn to avoid cars. I would expect domestic cats to adapt and yet I've known too many to have been run over. Adapting to cars would require a total overhaul of the way they perceive and react to their surroundings. They will never adapt to be adept at avoiding cars. People aren't breeding them for that end, and there is no separation between domesticated and feral populations of housecats. They reproduce too quickly for the ones that are killed by cars to matter to natural selection. Death by automobile is what's called background mortality. Scientific jargon meaning killed by bad luck, not because of an overtly maladaptive trait.

Animals can become reliant on humans to provide food. That leads to problems with inter-reaction. A wild animal then wants food provided by humans. A piece of a sweet chocolate bar becomes the norm. Probably not bad for humans, but the animal likes it so much and becomes used to it. Then the animal finds that it cannot cope with the food and becomes sick. Ideal case is that of chocolate for dogs and is a cumulative poison, the liver cannot cope with it.
Apart from that, a wild can transmit diseases and feeding them, relating to them and socialising with them can spread disease. Rabies is the best example.

ur idea is really good but it did take years for those cats to get adapted right? u sure can train an animal but the outcome will take a little long and i don't think humans hav tht much patience. Why don't humans get used to the wildlife??? its their land right? we just came and took over just bcuze we are a little more powerful.......
i will go on and on and on and i don't want to bore u so bye

Cars should always be feared.... humans on the other hand are far less predictable. Some humans will hurt animals for no reason, so letting animals get "used" to humans that do not hurt them is just setting them up to get hurt by some a hole later.

The wildlife was here first. We are invading their areas by cutting down forests and living in them. We need to adapt to their life not the other way around.

Hypothetically it should be OK, But, too many people hunt or hurt them in ignorance, so for now it is safer if they just avoid humans.
