My CD drive won't open. Only way it opens is if I stick a pin or something through the manual eject hole or whatever you call it. It's getting really annoying and I have to take a long time just to stick the pin in just right enough to open the CD Drive. It's really annoying.

I think my CD drive can't open is because there are two buttons. One's stop and the other one's play and pause or something. And the stop button I think also ejects, but when I press it, it doesn't work, and if I press the other button, if I have a CD in it, it plays.

Any idea what I should do?

Right clicking on the drive and clicking eject won't work. It just makes a noise in my cd drive as if it's about to open, but it doesn't.

Do NOT tell me to do the PIN THINGIE, because that's not helping or answering the question, that's just telling me to do what I dont' want to do.

I already asked this, but i'm asking again.

Sounds like its time to replace the drive.
If its just a player a new one can be $25 , a CD-r or DVD recorder can be upwards of $60.

Heya,
If the only thing working is the pin thing then obviously there is something wrong with the ejection mechanism.
Jusr replace the drive. They are not all that expensive nowadays (in AUS less than $35 bucks).

So if it makes the noise but does not open. There is your problem. Failed mechanism.
