what is the climax in the story?

i read that book last week in English.......the climax is when General Zaroff told the guy that he hunted people.....HOPE IT HELPS!!!

I think that the climax is when the two guys (I can't remember their name) are face to face fighting. This is the climax because the result of the story after it takes place will effect the rest of the story and cannot be changed. Hope this helps!!

The climax in that story...

Well it could be

a. When the man tells him he hunts people...

b. When they have their last fight.

It's a matter of opinion. It's when the main problem of the story is resolved. The main problem could be either

a. What does the man hunt?

b. Does the main character survive.


What do you think? I choose b.
