Middle school sucked hard when I went through it. Later in life, as a substitute teacher, I spent a few years in front of middle school classes. As a teacher, middle school seemed just as horrible as ever, but the experience did let me reflect on just why middle school is so freaking lame. Here's my answer:

In most places in the US, middle school is 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. That's ages 11-14, and those are really critical times for growing up. First of all, this is the time when a kid begins to look like an adult. And so it is also the time of life when most kids are figuring out, for the first time, that they are going to eventually be an adult and that they are going to be essentially free to do whatever they want in just a few years. You take hundreds of people who are all realizing this at the same time and what you get is a place where you have hundreds of egos testing their limits - against each other, against teachers and other adults - all at the same time. Definitely, that's a stressful environment.

Because of all that pressure, and because they're testing their independence, any middle schooler can very easily be a really huge jerk. But I like middle schoolers. Because it's a good time to learn and think about who you are. I know this must sound like the sort of crap a teacher might say, but it's true.

Middle School Sucks But High School Was Much worse for me it was bigger in my problems just grow. I never did fit in. wish I could give you hope but tell I came to gripes with the fact that I had to be happy with me before others would be I was not a Happy person. Now I love my life I could have been here than if I could have got there than.

Umm, actually my middle skool life was a happy one. I went to a talent skool (umm, it was semi private because u had to audition to get in it, and they had uniforms) that had grades 4 to 8 and there were only 2 classes in each grade. So, i knew everybody since grade 4 and actually, almost everybody was friendly with each other expect for the random 1 or 2, so I can say that people who went to my skool are probably really happy that they went there... and well, my skool life wuz happy as well... but seriously wuts so bad about middle skool????

My middle school experience was horrible because I had no friends. I was fat, and had horrible hygeine lmao yes I admit! I was also the nerd, who everyone copied their homework from. It was horrible, I sat at the lunch table all by myself every day!

never was popular never was a "loser" never bacame awall flower. i was nice to all and they were nice to me . i never quite found aplace were i really fit except one that was soon taken from me. i learned to make it a brezze . floating on a sea . avoided the drama and gossip by never contributing to it . 'nobody could hate me' a quote from my best friend . thats how i did it . mellow as could be floating through the crowds being happy me finding friends in everyone when i had none . breaking from the mold to set myself free. don't hate everyone no mtter what end you end up in school . so be yourself no matter how akweird and be kind to all who like you and polite to those you don't though don't get shoved . that is my survival tip though your rough trip. though i hope you rise from the see to float on the sea evn at times when paddeling is due

Anyway high school is better because it's bigger you'll find your way into your own clique. and the b4 you know it school is over then it's college.
