A little something about soul mates tho' - I believe we always have soul mates in our lives, they may not be the people we feel comfortable with, in fact the likely case is that our soul mates more often than not make us feel uncomfortable. The reason for this is that soul mates are designed to be a part of our lives so that our soul may evolve or at least have the opportunity to evolve. The reason they make us feel uncomfortable is because they take us just beyond our comfort zone so that we can grow. So whether you are partnered or not there are people (even animals etc) that are intrinsically part of your life to help your soul evolve - these individuals are your SOUL MATES.

Know that they are close and love you dearly.

Well Exactly who said that one's soulmate would be their love?
That is what is interpreted, but cant they be your best friend, future kid, parent, etc....? Many people believe that a soulmate is the person (or maybe even pet) with whome one connect with in a grand way. So relax and you'll find you love....soulmate or not, a relationship is never easy. Just keep looking and keep your head up.

Let's not panic.

I am and have been of the firm belief that a person can have more than one soulmate in his/her life. If a soulmate of yours was not fortunate enough to survive long enough to meet you, it's more than likely that at least one other has.

Yes, I'm certain that is the most logical explaination. I'm sure it can't be that you are:

1. Looking in the wrong places
2. Measuring everyone according to some crazy set of criteria
3. Not giving yourself enough time
4. Not being honest with yourself or people you meet
5. Putting potential candidates off with your arcane sense of humor/social values.
