no, you are all wrong, if the tank is full in an hour, and one minute has passed, where it was half that amount just that same minute prior to that, it must then be half full at

59 minutes!

simple, just do the equation backwards

60 minutes - full
59 minutes - 1/2
58 minutes - 1/4
57 minutes - 1/8
etc ...get my drift?
